HISTORY

I am a professional trapper with 30+ years of experience. My education began at the age of ten as I sat across the table from my great uncle and listened to stories. He had trapped his entire life using skills that had been passed down from prior generations. During the depression, he used his extensive knowledge of wildlife to help his communities of Carlyle and Beckenmeyer, Illinois. He instilled in me a respect for both man and animal and opened my eyes to the beauty of nature. I spent many hours at the kitchen table learning my craft before ever going into the field for hands-on work, but I quickly applied my uncle's knowledge and caught my first red fox at the age of eleven. In 1991, I turned my lifelong hobby into a business and Metro-East Wildlife control was born.
